The last episode saw Rang getting patched while sleeping by Yeo-hee. While he is gone, Yeon and Shin-Ju coax Rang to get up. When he didn’t, the two had a cute conversation about how Rang would react if he found out that the girl was half mermaid.

Rang completely misinterpreted his obvious gesture and felt compelled to act as his matchmaker. Yeon hears rumors about the man in the red and white mask outside, bringing him one step closer to learning the truth.
The man informs him that Park Ga, who has amassed a fortune from gold mining, is equipped with a cultural palace behind the Joseon Bank. Even though it looked like he was robbed, all his belongings.
The person who snuck into the mansion turns out to be Shin-ju, but Sun-Woo Eun-ho holds him at gunpoint while he explores the place. Recognizing her as Yoo-ri, he assures her that this is only the beginning of their love and asks her to hug him.
Instead, he killed the man in the stomach, causing him to eventually flee while desperately dodging the bullets. In the alley, Yeon and Shin-Joo meet, and Yeon ends up meeting our assassin.
Now that we know who this is, Yeon and Moo-yeong engage in a gun battle. A large group of villagers also wearing white and red masks attack as Yeon and Rang approach a corner. When Yeon finds out that these people were hired with gold to act as human shields, he stops everything.
The golden lord, which was also the Silla empress’ treasure, is found by Shin-ju, Rang, and Yeon. According to legend, whoever controls this ruler has the power to bring back the dead and gain fame.
Taluipa, who was also present at the scene, wonders what Moo-yeong was thinking that night. That night, he confesses to her that he is here to revive his dead brother and restore all that he has lost.
However, it seems that Moo-yeong may actually be infected with something when he reveals a hideous scar or mysterious black growth on his chest. When Moo-yeong finally meets Hong-joo, he is surprised by how changed she has become.
Even though he regretted becoming a mountain god, he was still motivated by his desire for revenge. Rang met Yeohee for an appointment at the same time, and they planned to go horseback riding.
Rang decides to teach him to ride alone while standing beside him, against his expectations of riding with him. He burst out laughing when Rang offered to let him join the bandit category.
When the two finally did have a conversation, Rang emphasized that the demi-demon, which turned out to be each of them, had no place on this earth. They had a very heartfelt conversation, and as the day drew to a close, Yeohee fulfilled her goal and rode off into the sunset with Rang.
