The most nostalgic fantasy series, Harry Potter, by JK Rowling, will be considered a classic for years to come. The author’s books and films never fail to transport the audience from a gloomy world to a world of enchanting magic. While the series was interesting as a whole, the fact that JK Rowling chose to pair Harry with Ginny over Hermione never sat down with fans a bit. Whether it’s their chemistry or the way we’ve been conditioned to believe that the male lead should end up with the female lead, the couple still confuses and disappoints many.

The Harry Potter films premiered from 2001 to 2011, encompassing all of JK Rowling’s novels. The plot revolves around the “boy who lives,” Harry Potter, who unexpectedly ends up at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and discovers that he is the chosen one who will fight against the hapless Lord Voldemort, the same evil user of the Dark Arts. which left him an orphan.

Potter was only in his early teens when he was recruited by Hogwarts. This finally gave Harry the lonely chance to make some real friends. Despite being treated as an outcast all the time, Harry manages to find two loyal friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Throughout the film, Ron and Hermione help and guide Harry and even save his life several times. With the threat of death looming around him, Potter rarely had time to take care of his love life, but he eventually developed a strong relationship.

She developed a crush on Potter at Azkaban prisoner but ended up dating Dean Thomas at Half Blood Prince. He has actively assisted Harry in the previous films, but in Half Blood Prince, Harry found him and Dean kissing in the corridor, and he eventually grew frustrated with the relationship. This made him realize that he had real feelings for Ginny, and when she broke up with Dean, Harry and her started dating after winning the Quidditch Cup.

Things were going well for a while, but Harry had to start looking for Horcruxes and sadly decided to break up with Ginny to protect her from Voldemort. If he had known Harry and him were anything, Voldemort would have tried to hurt Ginny for sure. The pair did not see each other for a long time until Harry returned to Hogwarts Deathly Hallows Part 2. Ginny and her mother fought Bellatrix, and Molly finally managed to kill her.

After 19 years, we see an adult Harry bringing his children to Hogwarts. He was accompanied by his wife, Ginny, who hugged the children as they began this important part of their lives. The couple met Hermione and Ron as they were also sending their children to Hogwarts at the same time. Why is it Harry & Ginny and Hermione & Ron?

It’s shown early in the film and book that Hermione and Harry are engaged in a platonic way, where Harry is going to go off on his own, and Hermione has to step in and make him see things logically. Although Ron doesn’t appear to be someone who can be relied on at first, he manages to save people at times with whatever skills he has. The three of them got along well together, but Hermione and Ron were people who developed feelings for one another. From the start, we see Ron standing up to people who bully Hermione or badmouth her.

In the book, Harry reminisces about his relationship with Hermione like his sister (& not a lover). Although this remained the same for the most part, there was a time when Harry and Hermione grew closer while searching for Horcruxes. This made Ron jealous, but he realized that he was wrong and Hermione still loved him. Harry and Hermione were both smart and skilled and true but it was hard to say if their relationship would last.

Hermione and Ron, on the other hand, complemented each other very well. Ron was cheerful, while Hermione was more serious than necessary. Weasley was just the kind of person Hermione needed to exist in a world where too much logic could be fatal. Also, After marrying Ron and having two children, she became Harry’s sister (sister-in-law). JK Rowling revealed in an interview that she wasn’t sure if she made the right decision, but somehow, the way the Harry Potter stories end makes the plot feel satisfying.
